Marqueterie parquet is a carving art that is made by natural colors of wood without using paint by cutting wooden coats in different colors or by placing them inside each other or side by side.

Every piece made in the marqueterie parquet is unique and it is not very possible to make the second one exactly the same, because the pattern inside the wood varies like a fingerprint in each piece and it is almost impossible to find the same pattern.
The history of this art dates back to Ancient Egypt.

In the palace of Queen Cleopatra, it is rumored that the masters who performed this art competed with each other by showing all their skills in order to make Cleopatra love their works.

This art, which became widespread in France in the 17th century, has been known all over Europe, Anatolia and the Arabian Peninsula via marqueterie paintings and furniture that have entered the Louvre and Versailles Palaces especially in Paris.
The art of the marqueterie, which was performed by Mehmed  the Conqueror in person in the Ottoman Empire, later passed into oblivion and nowadays diminished dramatically.

Marqueterie parquet, which has  become  popular in recent years, has a stylish appearance with its visuality.
